1. Agreement to Terms
By purchasing equipment or machinery from Ol’ Mate Equipment, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all sales made through our website, in person, over the phone, or via third-party platforms. This agreement outlines the responsibilities of both the buyer and Ol’ Mate Equipment and is intended to protect both parties in a clear and professional manner.

2. Nature of Goods – Secondhand Sales
All machinery and equipment sold by Ol’ Mate Equipment is new, used, secondhand, or refurbished unless otherwise clearly stated in writing. Items are sold strictly “as is, where is” with no warranty, guarantee, or representation of fitness for any particular use. It is the buyer’s responsibility to inspect the equipment personally prior to purchase or to request detailed photos or video if an in-person inspection is not practical. Choosing to proceed with a purchase without inspection is done entirely at the buyer’s risk and does not entitle the buyer to compensation, return, or refund if the equipment does not meet expectations.

3. No Refund Policy
All sales made by Ol’ Mate Equipment are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, store credit, or exchanges under any circumstances. This includes cases where the buyer has changed their mind, selected the wrong item, failed to verify the item’s size or specifications, or if the equipment fails to meet the buyer’s needs or expectations after. Once a sale is completed, the buyer assumes all responsibility for the item and agrees that no recourse will be available for reversal or refund.

4. Payment Terms
All purchases must be paid in full before any equipment will be released or delivered. Accepted payment methods include direct deposit, and cash, subject to prior agreement. Goods will not be held, reserved, or delivered until payment has been received and cleared in full. A formal tax invoice will be issued upon request or as required for compliance.

5. Delivery, Freight & Pickup
Unless otherwise agreed, all delivery and freight arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer. Pickup from our yard can be arranged by appointment. If Ol’ Mate Equipment assists with arranging freight or transport, this service is provided strictly as a courtesy and does not form part of the sale agreement. We are not liable for damage, loss, or delays caused during transport, and the buyer accepts all risk associated with shipping or third-party handling.

6. Risk, Ownership & Liability
Ownership of the equipment transfers to the buyer immediately upon receipt of full payment. From that moment, the buyer assumes all risk associated with transportation, installation, operation, and ongoing maintenance. Ol’ Mate Equipment does not accept liability for any injury, damage, operational failure, or financial loss that may occur following the sale. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the equipment is suitable, safely handled, and operated by qualified persons in compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.

7. Accuracy of Descriptions
We take care to describe equipment as accurately as possible. However, all descriptions, specifications, and photographs provided by Ol’ Mate Equipment are to be considered guides only. While we do our best to provide accurate information, we make no guarantees as to completeness or exact accuracy. Buyers must satisfy themselves as to the condition, quality, and suitability of the machinery before purchase. We accept no liability for errors, omissions, or misinterpretations relating to product descriptions.

8. Amendments
Ol’ Mate Equipment reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The version of these terms that is in effect at the time of sale will apply to that transaction.
